An engineer by trade, after graduating with a degree in Manufacturing Systems and a few years building automation solutions for ABB metering, Martyn moved into operational management in a variety of roles across multiple industries.
Finally settling in food with roles in Bernard Matthews and finally as group operations director for Moy Park before entering the world of consultancy.
Martyn uses all his operational, financial, and commercial background to head up the day to day running of Chasm. With well over 100 projects delivered in every element of food production as well as supply chain, agriculture, pharma and IT systems there is nobody better placed to deliver.
Martyn founded Chasm in 2017 out of his frustration at seeing organisations waste money on non-sustainable operational improvement projects or ‘sheep dip’ training and development programmes, neither of which fix the underlying problems. Combining 20 years of industry experience and 10+ in consulting, there is no better expert out there.
His ability to unpick factories and the ability to rebuild them is second to none.
